RISER Featured by HaDEA in New Article on Europe’s Cloud Sovereignty
The RISER project is pleased to be featured in a new article published by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA), showcasing EU-funded initiatives that are helping to strengthen Europe’s cloud sovereignty and accelerate the development of a secure, resilient, and competitive European cloud ecosystem.
The article highlights the contributions of RISER and the OpenCUBE project to advancing next-generation cloud infrastructure that supports the European Union’s strategic objectives for digital sovereignty. As demand for trusted, interoperable, and energy-efficient cloud services continues to grow, projects such as RISER play an important role in developing innovative technologies that enhance Europe’s digital capabilities while reducing dependence on non-European solutions.
Funded under the Horizon Europe programme, RISER is focused on delivering scalable and sustainable cloud technologies that address the evolving needs of researchers, industry, and public sector organisations. By fostering collaboration between leading academic institutions, research organisations, and industrial partners across Europe, the project contributes to a more open, secure, and sovereign cloud landscape.
The HaDEA article provides an overview of how RISER and other EU-funded projects are working together to strengthen Europe’s digital infrastructure, drive technological innovation, and support the implementation of the European Cloud and Data Strategy.
We are delighted to see RISER recognised as part of this important European effort and invite you to read the full article on the HaDEA website to learn more about the initiatives shaping the future of Europe’s cloud sovereignty.
